Eighteen students on our D.C. campus and two students at our Tucson instructional site were inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, the honorary society for nontraditional-age students.  Kenneth Killiany, a long-time writing instructor on the DC campus; and Keiran Roche, assistant dean in Tucson, were inducted as honorary members.

In addition, one student in D.C. was inducted into Lambda Epsilon Chi, the honorary society for students in paralegal studies. Matthew Amon, an instructor in the paralegal program, was inducted as an honorary member.

In a reflection at the ceremony, Killiany praised the students for their dedication and persistence in completing their degrees. “Applaud yourselves. You have made it,” he said. “I would like to thank all of you for what I have gotten from you in teaching.”
