  • Herbert (Herb) Casey is a human resource (HR) consultant with over 35 years of experience. He served in HR leadership positions for various federal agencies, domestically and abroad. He retired from the Department of State in November, 2013. He continues to keep active in the HR profession through consulting and providing pro-bono HR services. Herb has a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a SHRM- SCP certification. He has been an adjunct professor for human resources courses at Catholic University of America’s Metropolitan College since 2009. Herb is a certified practitioner for the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). As a retirement coach, he has written various online articles on retirement issues. He has co-authored an article on the use of technical guides as training tools and spoken at the national conference of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). Herb has a B.B.A degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Memphis and a M. S. in Human Resources Management from the University of Maryland.
