Available Assistance
Under the CCAMPIS assistance program, participating parents and guardians will be able to receive a
subsidized rate for child care services provided by a licensed provider of your choice or by Learning Care
Group for child care during hours the parents and guardians are engaged in activities related to their
CUA courses. A list of Learning Care Group facilities in the Metropolitan Washington area is below.

The subsidy will not be paid directly to the student; rather, the university will pay the subsidy to the
childcare provider on the student’s behalf. The student will remain responsible for the remainder of the
student’s bill with the provider.

Subsidies Available
- A student with household income of $24,690 or less will receive a subsidy of 34% of their child care bill at a licensed provider.
- A student with household income from $24,691 to $32,920 will receive a subsidy of 27% of their child care bill at a licensed provider.
- A student with household income from $32,921 to $41,150 will receive a subsidy of 21% of their child care bill at a licensed provider.
- A student with household income of $41,151 or more is not eligible for any subsidy under this program.

Application Process
Complete the attached application and submit it via email to metro-ccampis@cua.edu by the following deadlines:

Late applications will be accepted to the extent available funds remain.
Once you are approved for CCAMPIS benefits through MSPS, you must register with Learning Care Group separately and be accepted before child care subsidies can commence.

Continuation of Benefits
This MSPS federal grant currently ends September 2023.  You must reapply each term or semester while the grant lasts but, once you have been approved to receive CCAMPIS subsidies, you will continue to receive benefits in each future term or semester in which your new application confirms you continue to meet all eligibility requirements. If you become ineligible or fail to reapply, then you will not be able to receive benefits that term or semester.  You can reapply any time after you regain your eligibility.
