The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies Paralegal Program teaches modern legal trends and trains paralegals for today’s demanding job market.  Our program prides itself on breaking down legal theory into practical application, research, and production of legal documents. Students have the option of obtaining a 1-year/24 credit Paralegal Studies Certificate or a 2-year/63 credit Associate of Arts in Paralegal Studies.  Each Certificate and A.A. student must complete a 90-hour Paralegal Internship which allows him/her to gain much-needed real-world experience and a footprint in the legal world.  This practical experience is essential to the training of paralegals to help ensure future career success.

We are very proud of our graduates who have completed internships through our partnerships with various government agencies and law firms, including the Arlington Public Defender’s Office, Department of Labor, Department of Justice, National Association of Social Workers, CACI, Legal-Aid, KNCF Law Firm, Excalibur Group, and Hylton-Rodic PLLC.
