The Metropolitan School of Professional Studies recently received a generous bequest of $6153.60 from the estate of the late Mrs. Winafred N. Schoeffler, who had died in 2014 at age 84.
Before retiring, Mrs. Schoeffler had worked for The Catholic University of America in administrative positions for 27 years. In 1998, she received the Faculty Service Award from the Metropolitan College (as MSPS was known at the time) for a decade of dedicated service.
“We are most grateful that Mrs. Schoeffler remembered the good work of our school in her will,” said Dean Vincent Kiernan. “Our hearts go out to her loved ones, but Mrs. Schoeffler’s generosity will help the Metropolitan School continue the work that she valued so highly.”
